FAQs

  • Bathroom and multi-person shower is shared by all guests and is cleaned daily

  • Guests are sent a unique door code the day of check-in when the room is ready

  • We will answer questions and offer recommendations to the best of our ability

  • Guests are allowed to have visitors, but only with approval due to security reasons

  • Smoking is allowed only outside in the front garden.

  • Pets are not allowed 

  • Off street parking is available and free only with the Deluxe Room.

  • For guests staying in The Standard and Lakeside Rooms, parking is permitted on the street and in the parking decks located nearby

  • Public transit closest is the CTA Red and Purple L lines, the 147 and 22 bus,

    • You should download the Ventra App to use transit.

    • Day passes are $5.00 for 24 hours on all Chicago public transit 

  • Central Air is available in warm months

  • Complimentary, non-alcoholic beverages are available in the guest mini-fridge in the kitchen

  • Check-in is at 4:00 pm and Check-out is at 1:00pm

    • Please notify us if you would like to check-in early or check-out late​

  • We are also available for guests to book on MisterBandB

    • (prices may be different due to fees charged by MisterBandB)

    • Promo Codes or discounts are only available for reservations made on our direct site

The Den off Eastlake is clothing optional for guests based off of their comfort level. Clothing Optional means you can wear as much or little clothing as you desire while inside The Den off Eastlake. We leave this up to the guests and let them set the tone for what is acceptable attire during their stay. Clothing is required outside the bed & breakfast, such as in the garden or on the pier. Please feel free to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have about this.

 *Please Note: Clothing Optional is not an open invitation for sex. Nudity does not always mean sex. We are adults and ask everyone respect others and ensure consent before touching others.

What we're doing to keep you safe from diseases

  • Your host and Assistants are fully vaccinated

  • Our bathroom is cleaned and sanitized daily.  

  • All surfaces, doorknobs, handles, etc are wiped down daily with disinfectant.

  • All bedding, towels, and pillows are washed and disinfected between guests.

  • All mattresses and upholstered furniture is steam cleaned between guests.

  • Hard floor surfaces are steam cleaned daily.

  • If you have any symptoms of Covid 19, please notify us to discuss options to reschedule.
